“Bagalamukhi” is the sixth of the ten Mahavidyas of the astuteness Goddesses, symbolizing the intense female primitive power in Hinduism. Goddess Bagalamukhi is the maker, controller, and destroyer of the entire universe. She is Aadi Shakti. The word “Bagala/Bugalamukhi”' comes from the word 'vulga' which means 'beautiful' and 'bird-mukhi'. Bagalamukhi is commonly known as Pitambari Maa in North India, the Goddess associated with yellow colour or golden colour.
